Ruby red color with violet dark hints. Intense, complex, fruity aroma, with notes of small red fruits (cherries and blackberries). Velvety and soft texture, warm and quite tannic with long persistence.​

Excellent with savory pasta dishes, lamb, game with rich sauces, seasoned cheeses.​
